Our karate club was established in February 2000 as part of the Ken Yu Kai Karate Association.
The class is a mixture of both adults and children of different grades and abilities. Our lessons consist of learning about basic stances, katas and fighting.
All grades are ratified by the Ken Yu Kai Karate Association which promotes self-respect and discipline according to the code of Martial Arts.
We are a very friendly karate club in the heart of Salford, and we welcome people of all backgrounds to come and train with us, both adults and children. We accept students as young as four to come and train with us. We all work together to help each other with our own development. As well as training hard, we also play a number of games which not only keep the lessons fun, but also help to improve people’s stamina and concentration. Although personal development is important, we also encourage students of all levels to work together in order to promote team work and pass on their knowledge.
